Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Illinois
• Experience working within school settings highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and goal setting for student development
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt strategies for a diverse range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with educators and families for holistic student care
• Document progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Participate in meetings, providing input on students’ strengths and areas for growth
• Maintain compliance with all district and state guidelines regarding therapy services
