Inspection Technician

Job Title: Inspection Technician Working Pattern: Onsite (2nd shift 2pm – 10:30pm) Working Location: Cypress, CA Responsibilities Perform dimensional inspections using GOM scanners, CMM, and traditional metrology tools (e.g., callipers, micrometers, height gauges) Conduct visual inspections to verify part integrity, workmanship, and adherence to specifications Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and technical specifications to perform accurate inspections Document inspection results in reports and databases, ensuring accurate records are maintained for traceability Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to communicate non‑conformances and support corrective actions Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability Uphold safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and industry requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency Experience operating GOM scanners, CMM equipment, and traditional metrology tools Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision machining environment Strong attention to detail with experience documenting inspection results and non‑conformances Pass a vision test and ability to lift up to 20 lbs Benefits Competitive salary ($24.04 - $36.07 per hour) Bonus and discretionary bonus plan Employee support assistance and employee discounts Health, dental, vision, disability, life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance Flexible spending account, health savings account 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off, paid holidays, paid parental and family care leave Tuition reimbursement Long‑term incentive plan Rolls‑Royce is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
