Senior Environmental Health and Safety Engineer

Stryker seeks a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to develop and oversee EH&S programs in its Chandler, Arizona manufacturing facility. The role involves conducting audits and investigations, delivering compliance training, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across all operational areas.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain EH&S procedures, work instructions, and compliance programs across manufacturing operations
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations; document findings and track corrective action resolution
• Develop and deliver required EH&S training including emergency response and hazardous material handling
• Identify and mitigate EH&S risks in new and existing manufacturing processes
• Coordinate safety committees and report compliance metrics and incident data to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years supporting EH&S programs in manufacturing, industrial, laboratory, healthcare, or regulated environments
• Minimum 2 years conducting audits, inspections, investigations, or regulatory compliance activities
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Experience delivering or administering workplace safety and compliance training programs
• Professional certification (CSP, ASP, or equivalent) preferred

Compensation: $69,500 - $110,900 USD Annual
