Job Overview We are looking for a Distribution Center Associate to join our team at Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company located in Tama, Iowa. The role focuses on warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of dry and perishable goods. Potential Positions and Shifts Scanners/Loaders Stack‑Off Load Picker Yard Driver/Loader Responsibilities Be on time and ready to work at the start of shift. Unload dry goods deliveries. Stock warehouse perishable goods. Load and unload storage/transfer trailers. Implement 5S standards to maintain visual order, organization, cleanliness, and standardization. Perform inventory counting and reconciliation. Inspect inbound/outbound trailers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, labels, and memo; write simple correspondence; present information to supervisors, peers, and employees. Must be willing to obtain forklift certification if not already certified; or be able to become certified. A valid driver’s license may be required. Use teamwork, interpersonal, and customer service skills as required. This is a safety‑sensitive on‑site position. Qualifications Previous experience lifting with a reach stand‑up lift. Previous experience operating a rider pallet jack. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Age 18 or older, with a valid driver’s license if required. Ability to lift and move up to 50‑75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; lift in hot/cold environments, both indoors and outdoors. Must perform regular standing, walking, hand and arm use, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, speaking, and hearing. Vision: distance vision and depth perception. Must wear safety equipment: hard hat, steel‑toed boots, earplugs, hairnet, beard net. Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
