Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Experienced registered nurse specializing in cardiac catheterization is needed to support patient care in a high-volume cardiac cath lab. This role involves providing skilled nursing services during cardiac procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient condition pre- and post-procedure to ensure stability and optimal recovery.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and sedation as prescribed, while monitoring patient responses.
  
  
• 
  Operate and assist with complex cardiac procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic services.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active and valid RN license.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar cardiology setting.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac procedures, including catheterizations and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
