You support the culinary team by executing precise prep tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the line. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and committed to food safety and cleanliness.**Key Responsibilities*** Accurately wash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes and specifications* Label, date, and store prepped items in accordance with food safety standards* Follow detailed prep lists and prioritize tasks to meet kitchen needs* Maintain par levels of prepared items to support uninterrupted line service* Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, mixers, and blenders* Assist with basic cooking tasks such as blanching, portioning, and marinating* Keep prep area clean, sanitized, and organized at all times* Support line cooks and chefs as needed during service periods* Comply with all Clark County Health Department and internal food safety regulations* Follow hand-washing, cleaning, and sanitizing protocols consistently**Accountabilities*** Wear and maintain the proper uniform in accordance with restaurant standards* Maintain a clean and organized prep station from start to finish of shift* Properly rotate inventory and minimize waste through accurate prep and storage* Communicate proactively with kitchen team about shortages or prep needs* Be reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts## Qualifications* 3 years of experience in high-end /fast casual fast pace Italian restaurant* Familiarity with basic knife skills and food handling procedures* Knowledge of proper ingredient storage and labeling protocols* Must have Clark County Food Handler Card**Physical & Availability Requirements*** Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift* Must be able to lift and transport containers weighing up to 30 lbs.* Must be able to navigate tight prep spaces and handle repetitive motion tasks* Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays**Ideal Candidate Traits*** Organized and task-driven with a strong sense of urgency* Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality* Attentive to cleanliness and safety* Team-oriented and willing to assist wherever needed* Receptive to coaching and feedback #J-18808-Ljbffr Pieroscuisine
