Field Service Technician

Field Service TechnicianClayton Services is searching for a Field Service Technician to join a growing industrial equipment manufacturer in Southwest Houston. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and commissioning industrial equipment at customer facilities throughout the region.Job Type: Direct HirePay Rate: $20.00 - $32.00/hour plus OTBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) w/ match, short and long term disability, PTO, holidays, and more.Field Service Technician Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment in both shop and field environmentsPerform startup, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activitiesInterpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentationComplete service reports and project documentationCommunicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teamsSupport equipment upgrades, retrofits, and performance improvementsEnsure compliance with customer safety requirements and company policiesTravel to customer locations as needed to support service operationsOther duties as assignedField Service Technician Skills and Abilities:Strong mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and documentationWorking knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systemsStrong customer service and communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and solve problems in the fieldCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipField Service Technician Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical school, military, or equivalent hands-on experience preferredExperience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing industrial equipmentManufacturing, industrial, energy, oil & gas, or related industry experience preferredAbility to travel as requiredField Service Technician - Immediate need.
