Base Pay $18.00 - $23.00 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Required Degree NONE Manage Others No Description Deep Creek Fireplace Store is looking for a Fireplace Technician help! sure to have any and all parts and material needed for the install, repair or service call Delivering unit/units to the site Ability to professionaly speak with job supervisors -setting the unit and planning the venting run Able to think outside of the box Install any/all necessary fire-stops-attaching electrical and gas supplies to unit-venting and terminating the run Ensuring all required venting clearances are maintained chase-tops and roof tops frequently accessed via ladders-on steep roofs, fall protection is used Installing roof flashings and chase coversRetro installs are similar, most of the time require more demolition work, access to roof tops and attic spaces. Communicating with the homeowner, explain things can be messy and loud. Service calls include communicating with the home owner, explaining the process of the cleaning or repair. Familiar with basic power tools Basic math skills and reading a tape measure Able to lift 50+ lbs.
