Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Sandy Springs GA 30328. Job Details: Schedule: 8:30a - 5:30p Location: Sandy Springs GA 30328 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 14 Week/s Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections using straight and butterfly needles. Collect, label, process, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens according to established procedures. Verify patient information, physician orders, requisitions, and specimen labels for accuracy. Explain blood draw and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients. Maintain specimen integrity by following proper storage, temperature, transportation, and handling protocols. Perform equipment maintenance, decontamination, recordkeeping, and patient information updates. Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and complete required annual department training. Answer telephone inquiries and provide laboratory results as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.

1. 3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
2. years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
