Medicare Home Care Employee
University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Medicare home care employee with strong knowledge of insurance and verifications to join our team in Livonia, MI. This role involves supporting our clients by ensuring timely and accurate insurance verification and coordination of home care services under Medicare guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams to ensure proper authorization and billing.
- Assist clients and their families in understanding their insurance benefits related to home care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of verifications and communications.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth service delivery and compliance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Medicare policies, insurance verification processes, and home care regulations.
- Experience working with insurance companies and handling verifications in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient with electronic health records and related software is a plus.
