Position Overview The Anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures and work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and medical procedures Evaluate patients prior to procedures and develop appropriate anesthesia care plans Monitor patients during procedures and adjust anesthesia levels as needed Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and quality care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities Community Overview Located in the scenic Green Mountains, Rutland offers a welcoming community with access to outdoor recreation, cultural activities, and a high quality of life.
