A leading heavy civil and infrastructure contractor with a strong national footprint is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support projects across its Rocky Mountain region. The firm self-performs a diverse portfolio of transportation, utility, and water infrastructure work, including highways, bridges, and large-scale earthwork projects.

This opportunity is well-suited for a technically strong, field-focused scheduler looking to advance within a collaborative, people-first organization that emphasizes long-term career growth and development.

Position Overview

As part of a centralized scheduling and project controls team, the Scheduler will partner closely with regional operations personnel to develop, manage, and maintain project schedules. This position will be based in the Denver office, with occasional travel to active job sites throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 across multiple heavy civil projects.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure schedule logic aligns with field progress and critical path milestones.
Support preconstruction efforts by assisting with bid and proposal schedules.
Provide monthly schedule updates and reporting to project and regional leadership.
Identify potential schedule risks and recommend mitigation and recovery strategies.
Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling standards, tools, and project controls processes.

Qualifications

5+ years of scheduling experience within construction, preferably heavy civil (highways, bridges, utilities, earthwork).
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles and construction sequencing.
Experience supporting projects under CMGC and/or design-bid-build delivery methods is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively alongside field and office teams.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
