Job Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• ASN degree required.
• 2-5 years of ICU experience required.
• Experience in a Trauma Level I facility preferred; candidates with Trauma Level II experience may be considered.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• EPIC experience required.
• Current MA RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Tele test will be administered on the first day (pass/fail).
• Must be separated from previous employment with the facility for 6 or more months to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and health management.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
