Title: AVID Tutors (2 positions) - Middle School

Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for two AVID Tutor positions at Milton Middle School. Applicants do not need to have content expertise, but will be trained in assisting small groups of students. This position will begin on September 9, 2026 and will consist of working from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is important that the AVID tutor will be able to commit to all dates and times.

A starting wage of $17.05 per hour is offered for AVID Tutors, with additional compensation available for candidates with instructional aide experience in a public-school setting.

Qualifications :
Candidates should be organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to collaboratively work well with others (including other aides, teachers, students and parents). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and demonstrate empathy for children. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.
