Benefits 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching About the Role Silver State Sports Medicine is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Medical Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice in Henderson, NV. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while keeping our medical office running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance at time of service Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EHR system Answer and route incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication with insurance providers Ensure front desk area is organized, stocked, and compliant with HIPAA privacy standards Requirements 2+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with medical terminology, EHR/EMR systems, and insurance verification processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Proficient in multi-line phone systems, scheduling software, and basic computer applications Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare administration degree a plus Schedule Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 5pm; Friday 7:45am - 3pm About Us Silver State Sports Medicine is a trusted family and sports medicine practice serving the Henderson, NV community with a commitment to personalized, high-quality patient care.
