Duties/Responsibilities

• Installs new elevators & escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems.
• Maintains and repairs elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance, such as oiling & cleaning mechanical parts, and inspecting safety devices.
• Responds to emergency calls and makes repairs quickly and efficiently.
• Updates and maintains records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Conducts safety audits and ensures that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
• Stays current with advancements in elevator technology and industry regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & manuals. Works well independently. Good communication skills & ability to work well with others. Excellent problem-solving skills. Great attention to detail. Good troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis in cases of emergency
