Senior Attorney
TrueSeek
A 100+ attorney business law firm with 40 years of history and offices across Florida is expanding three of its core practices: bankruptcy and restructuring, trial litigation, and condominium and real estate development. The firm has earned top national rankings for more than 2 decades and has been adding partners statewide over the past year. We are hiring senior associates through partners who want room to lead their own matters on a strong platform.
These teams work closely together. Distressed real estate, development disputes, and bankruptcy litigation regularly cross practice lines, which creates real cross-referral opportunities and more ways to serve clients well.
Where You Might Fit
Bankruptcy and Restructuring
- Lead or play a central role in Chapter 11 cases representing debtors, creditors' committees, and fiduciaries from first-day hearings through plan confirmation.
- Handle asset sales, cash collateral and financing disputes, claims disputes, plan negotiations, adversary proceedings, and contested hearings.
Trial Litigation
- Take complex business disputes from complaint to verdict in state and federal court, both jury and non-jury.
- Work across real estate litigation, business torts, officer and director liability, complex commercial cases, bankruptcy litigation, and insurance disputes.
- Miami-based attorneys, or those open to working from Miami, are preferred.
Condominium and Real Estate Development
- Represent developers from early structuring through the creation and sale of condominium and homeowners' projects.
- Draft declarations, bylaws, and disclosure materials, and guide clients through association governance, turnover, and Florida's evolving condominium regulations.
What You Bring
- You have substantial experience in at least one of these practices and are comfortable owning matters independently.
- Trial candidates have tried cases to verdict;
restructuring candidates have meaningful Chapter 11 experience;
real estate candidates have spent real time on the developer side of condominium work. - Florida Bar admission is preferred, and attorneys licensed elsewhere receive full firm support preparing for and passing the Florida Bar exam.
- A portable book of business is welcome and carries more weight at the partner level, though fit and trajectory matter more than book size.
- Spanish is a plus.
What the Firm Offers
- A nationally recognized platform with award-winning restructuring and real estate teams, plus a track record of steady growth across Florida.
- A collaborative culture where partners invest in mentoring and attorneys earn meaningful responsibility early.
- A dedicated marketing and business development team to help you grow your practice.
- A broad business client base with genuine cross-selling between litigation, real estate, corporate, and restructuring.
These are active searches, and the firm is ready to move. If you practice in one of these areas and want a bigger platform for the work you already do well, I would welcome a confidential conversation.
