Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day

Description

Position is responsible for receiving and distributing supplies in the plant.

Position Details

• Help with receiving all supplies to the plant and putting supplies in proper location.
• Constantly inspect work to ensure highest quality.
• Notify supervisor of any quality problems, such as improper filling.
• Maintain a high production level at a consistent work pace.
• Help unload all trucks of cushions, backfill, and pillows.
• Make sure all supplies are in their proper place at the end of the day.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by your supervisor.
• Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or practices to your supervisor.
• Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to make informed decisions independently and seek guidance/direction when necessary
• Previous receiving in a manufacturing or production setting is a plus
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of the company
• Must be able to prioritize duties

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand most of the shift but also be able to walk, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over throughout the day
• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Must be able to continuously push/pull materials throughout shift
• Must be able to grasp with hands frequently
• Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; up to 100 lbs. with assistance
