Mechanical Engineer located near High Point, NC for a leading manufacturer of innovative furniture products. This position is responsible to translate architectural floor plans into precise, efficient seating layouts that maximize capacity, sightlines, and accessibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent discipine

• Must have at least five (5) years' experience creating architectural drawings within a manufacturing or construction environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations

responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design, engineering, and technical execution of advanced seating systems

• Translate architectural floor plans into precise, efficient seating layouts that maximize capacity, sightlines, and accessibility.

• Guide projects from concept through installation, ensuring seamless integration within complex architectural environments.

• Lead the creation, review, and maintenance of accurate, detailed BOMs for all projects

• Ensure all designs comply with ADA guidelines, building codes, fire safety regulations, and relevant industry standards.

• Attend site visits to assess installation conditions, provide technical oversight, and resolve engineering challenges in the field.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering/architectural engineering experience

• Experience with architectural mechanical systems

• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software

• Knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and construction practices
