As an Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), youll provde compassionate, high-quality primary and same-day care to patients of all ages. In this highly collaborative fast-paced role you will assess, manage and  treat patients at our Federal Point clinic in Carolina Beach, NC.   Hours are 800a-500p,Wednesdays & Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provides appropriate and timely primary care to patients of all ages.
\n
• Conducts comprehensive evaluations, including symptom assessment, and timely documents in the EMR.
\n
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans. 
\n
• Educates patients regarding disease processes, medication management, lifestyle modification, nutrition, and self-management techniques.
\n
• Orders, reviews, and interprets laboratory testing and diagnostic studies  
\n
• Coordinates care with dietitians, diabetes educators, primary care providers, and other specialists to support comprehensive endocrine care.
\n
• Assists with answering patient/provider questions and  walk-in, same-day plus follow-up visits.
\n
• Collaborates with fellow primary care and specialty providers, as needed.
\n
• Supports quality initiatives related to primary care.
\n

  Candidate Qualifications

\n

\n
• Current NP or PA certification and active North Carolina license (or eligibility) 
\n
• 6 months plus experience working as an independent provider
\n
• Strong clinical assessment skills and commitment to patient-centered care
\n
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative & flexible environment  
\n
