RN Med/Surg (2N - Trauma Neuro ICU) - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

• 1 month gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience - ICU or critical care experience

Required Credentials: - Pass EKG competency for rhythm interpretation.

Preferred Credentials: - TCAR preferred.

Special Requests: - No travel pairs.

Unit Details: - Patient ratios depend on acuity: 1:2 or 1:4 for stepdowns or bedholds. - Uses ventilators, CRRT, monitors, and IV pumps. - Typical procedures performed on the unit include TLC, intubation, CRRT, TTM, stroke tPA, foley catheter, CPR, defibrillation/cardioversion, and TEE.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Every third weekend.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Driver’s license required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
