Interim Director of Pharmacy – Behavioral HealthStart: ASAPDuration: OngoingSchedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm plus on-call after shiftsWeekend: Possible on-call coverageSpecialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy for an interim assignment at a behavioral health hospital in the Peoria, IL area. This is a unique opportunity to take on a hands-on leadership role supporting pharmacy operations within a behavioral health setting.RequirementsActive Illinois Pharmacist License in good standingInpatient hospital experience preferredExperience with HCS preferredExperience with Omnicell preferredResponsibilitiesProvide pharmacy leadership while functioning as a working DOPApprove medication orders and support daily pharmacy operationsAssist with Omnicell setup and inventory stockingParticipate in P&T meetings and pharmacy workflow developmentSupport overall pharmacy implementation and operational readinessAdditional InformationBehavioral health facility settingNo sterile compounding requiredHCS and Omnicell training providedLocal candidates preferred, though travel candidates may be consideredCredentialing RequirementsBackground checkDrug screenHIPAA trainingTB testCode of Conduct attestationAdditional onboarding requirements may apply
