Junior Video Editor and Camera Operator – Sports Location: Omaha, NE. This is a full‑time, exempt, on‑site position. Salary range is $44,000 – $48,000 per year. Occasional travel within Lincoln, Omaha and the state of Nebraska, and weekend availability may be required. About Hurrdat Hurrdat is a media, marketing and entertainment agency founded in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2010. We provide social media services to brands and athletes and have grown to 150+ employees and over 200 clients. The Sports division works with local and professional sports teams in Nebraska. Role Overview The Junior Video Editor and Camera Operator will work under the Sports Director and senior video editor, producing video content for Hurrdat Sports social channels and website. Responsibilities include shooting footage, operating secondary cameras, capturing behind‑the‑scenes moments, editing projects, and contributing creative ideas. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with the Sports team (senior editor, director, social media strategist, content creators) to produce multimedia for social channels. Create new video concepts for Hurrdat Sports social channels and website. Record and operate secondary camera during large production shoots. Capture behind‑the‑scenes footage at sports events. Edit assigned video projects in Premiere or equivalent. Provide creative direction on selected projects. Assist with social media asset editing and other tasks as requested. Qualifications Proficient in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, etc.). Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and basic camera and video production. Strong organizational, detail‑oriented work. Good interpersonal and networking skills. Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and overtime when required. Must pass a pre‑employment background check. Working Conditions and Physical Effort The role is performed in an office setting.
