Speech Language Pathologist - Starting Salary $60,429 Montgomery County School District, Mount Sterling, Kentucky (District-wide) Qualifications Kentucky Certificate with proper endorsements. ASHAP Certification required. Additional qualifications as determined by Superintendent or Board. Job Responsibilities Provide individualized therapy programs to meet student needs and correct speech, language, and voice fluency impairments. Administer, score, and interpret speech‑ and education‑related assessment tests; screen and observe student behavior and integrate findings for program options and placement. Serve as chairperson or consulting member of the pre‑referral committee or other ARC (Admission and Release Committee) as needed. Collect and prepare annual and tri‑annual evaluation data per Board policy. Review and recommend appropriate testing materials for school/district student population. Coordinate and assist in providing a program of assessment for special education students efficiently and cost‑effectively, ensuring referral and assessment procedures are followed. Provide and perform student services as directed by supervisor after completing required training. Provide and coordinate staff training; attend meetings and training in related areas. Prepare necessary documentation for Medicaid billing when applicable. Participate in peer review for Medicaid billing when assigned. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Principal, Director of Special Education, or Superintendent. Term of Service Salary and workdays to be established by the Board.
