You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine checks, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Report potential hazards, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
