Mechanical design from concept to model / drawing completion for moderate to high complexity required.Ability to work and support projects with minimal supervision. In this role, you will be expected to manage projects with the design, component selection, obtaining quotes, make versus buy decisions for fabrication and assembly, tracking and maintaining schedule adhering to budget, and presenting status at meetings. What You Will LearnTechniques to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair deployed automation solutions, as well as how to specify robotics PLC's, sensors, thermal management design and temperature monitoring.Ability to run the software and teach robotics positions and vison routines.Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience5-7 years of experience with the design process as outlined above. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and machined parts design, design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) practices.Proficiency with 3D modelling using Creo (or equivalent) and ACAD.Qualifications We PreferAdvanced degreeUnderstanding of the product build process. Engineering capital appropriations request. Managing schedule and budget of large capital projects. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
