Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications ACLS. Willing to obtain allowed for ACLS.
• Certifications BLS. Willing to obtain allowed for BLS.
• Certifications NIHSS. Willing to obtain allowed for NIHSS.
• Certifications ENPC or PALS. Willing to obtain allowed for PALS.
• Certifications TNCC
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Emergency Room in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Epic
• Skills Assessment ERM skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 1 Charge RN reference within the last 1 year.
• Additional Confirmations Requires trauma level 3 experience
• Additional Confirmations Barcode scanning med administration experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Managing medication drips experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Blood product administration experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Triage experience is required, and candidates must pass the hospital's Triage Test.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to set up chest tubes is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to set up art lines is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience assisting with trauma and code cases is required.
• Additional Confirmations Splinting experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Bipap/vents experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations A good understanding of ESI is required.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 7 days of time off can be requested.
