Nutrition Services Supervisor San Dieguito Union High School District Nutrition Services - Encinitas, California Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services, a Nutrition Services Supervisor oversees all daily operations of nutrition services at school site(s) according to department standards and government mandates; supervises nutrition services staff at a school kitchen(s) to ensure duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner; ensures availability of quantities of items; completes forms, prepares reports, and communicates orally and in writing to convey information. Qualifications Valid California Class C driver’s license. Current food‑safety manager certification (e.g., ServSafe “Food Protection Manager Certification” or equivalent). Certification must be submitted at the time of application. Two years of job‑related experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Fully completed employment application required. Position Details Pay: $24.75 – $30.21 per hour. Benefits: paid holidays, vacation, sick leave; medical, dental, and life insurance; CalPERS eligibility. Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 10 months/205 days, 40 hours per week. Location: La Costa Canyon High School – 1 Maverick Way, Carlsbad, CA 92009.
