- We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) responsible for managing, administering, securing, and optimizing enterprise database platforms, with a primary focus on MongoDB hosted on Azure.
- The ideal candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for MongoDB architecture, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational support.

- Database Administration
- Administer and support MongoDB databases hosted in Azure environments.
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure MongoDB architectures.
- Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
- Perform database upgrades, migrations, patching, backup, and recovery activities.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and operational standards for MongoDB platforms.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Application & DevOps Collaboration
- Partner with application development teams utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
- Support database integration for microservices and API-based applications.
- Assist with CI/CD pipeline implementations involving database deployments and schema changes.
- Contribute to automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.
- Support release management and deployment activities across environments.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 8 years RDBMS experience
- Minimum of 8 years Database Administration experience.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on MongoDB Administration experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with:
- MongoDB Atlas
- Replica Sets
- Sharding
- Performance Tuning
- Query Optimization
- Backup & Recovery
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Capacity Planning
- Security, Authentication, and Authorization
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing MongoDB workloads on Microsoft Azure.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supporting production-critical database environments.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working simultaneously on multiple projects of a complex nature.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading large system and RDBMS enhancements, conversions, and production problem resolution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with leading problem-solving efforts and lead in issue resolution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in RDBMS project analysis, design, development, troubleshooting and tuning efforts
- Minimum 10 years of experience in CICD, SDLC, Agile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MongoDB/Cloud /Azurex`
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 8 years RDBMS experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- Microservices Architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices:
- Azure DevOps
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- Git
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting and automation experience using Shell, Python, or similar technologies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Bank applications, framework, business needs and RDBMS direction and framework.
- Awareness of the Bank's standards, business plan and strategic objectives with the ability to shape direction.
- Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities in RDBMS project analysis, design, development, troubleshooting and tuning efforts.
- Mastery level understanding of multiple RDBMS skills, tools and functions with advanced knowledge of operating systems.
- Previous experience in banking RDBMS support.
- CAPPM experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong task management skills.
- Good database administration skills, the candidate should possess working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and CI/CD practices to effectively collaborate with development teams, support application integrations, and drive automation initiatives.
