Nonna’s is looking for a strong, reliable Pizza Cook to join our team.
We are a fast-paced Italian-American sandwich and pizza shop connected to Formento’s in the West Loop. We do high-volume lunch, dinner, late-night service, and catering, so we’re looking for someone who can move with urgency while maintaining consistency and organization.
This is a hands-on kitchen role inside a busy, team-oriented operation.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working pizza stations in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
- Ability to work clean, organized, and fast during busy service
- Strong sense of urgency and awareness
- Reliable and punctual
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Bilingual candidates strongly preferred
We want someone who:
- takes pride in their station,
- stays calm under pressure,
- and understands the importance of consistency.
Responsibilities
- Stretching and building pizzas to spec
- Managing oven timing and pizza quality during service
- Maintaining prep and station organization
- Assisting with prep projects and general kitchen support
- Following sanitation and food safety standards
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
Schedule
- PM and weekend availability required
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
