Responsibilities Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in various commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute system installations. Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the functionality and compliance of fire sprinkler systems. Troubleshoot and repair issues with fire sprinkler components and systems. Adhere to local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations. Collaborate with project managers, construction professionals, and team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completed apprenticeship program or formal training in fire sprinkler system installation. Relevant certifications, such as NICET, are a plus. Proficient knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Physical fitness and the ability to work in diverse conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
