Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team in Santa Monica, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work with patients experiencing orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and pelvic floor conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients restore function, reduce pain, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based treatment and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Therapist (PT)

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and pelvic floor conditions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and establish treatment goals based on patient needs.
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional rehabilitation interventions.
• Treat a variety of conditions, including:
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Sports-related injuries
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Pelvic pain and dysfunction
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Postpartum rehabilitation
  • Mobility and balance impairments
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

• Assist in implementing treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions to support patient recovery.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the therapy team.
• Provide patient education and reinforce home exercise programs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and patient-centered treatment environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and/or pelvic floor therapy preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative outpatient environment.
