This contract position runs from as soon as you’re available through June 25th, with the possibility—though not a guarantee—of extending into summer school. You’ll work alongside two other dedicated SLPs, covering primarily K-5 students. The caseload is intentionally small, allowing you to make a meaningful and focused impact.

This position features a split assignment: 6 FTE assigned to one location, and 0.4 FTE at another. Both are easily managed, ensuring you’ll have variety in your week without feeling overwhelmed. The culture is supportive, and you’ll have autonomy to shape sessions that suit your students’ needs.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current or eligible New York State SLP license
• CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience working with K-5 students preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and school teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students
• Assess, create, and implement individualized education plans
• Collaborate with fellow SLPs, teachers, and staff to optimize student progress
• Maintain accurate records and fulfill compliance requirements
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student growth
• Travel between two schools as assigned (primary workload in one)

This is an ideal role for SLPs seeking a supportive setting, small caseload, and the chance to shape young learners’ communication skills. If you’re eager to contribute your expertise and thrive alongside passionate colleagues, apply today to embark on this impactful journey!

Compensation for this position ranges from $36.72 to $66.72. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
