Electronics Technician I

Overview There are Electrical/Electronic Technician positions in Irvine, PA, and from time to time may be assigned to Corry/Warren plants. The successful candidates will be required to work rotating shifts, including 24/7, and in some areas may have seven-day continuous schedules. Overtime work (over 40 hours/week) may be mandatory. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities Perform testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs of electrical/electronics of NC and CNC controls. PLC software programming. CAD (CADD). Maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of machine tools, control circuits, electro/mechanical and hydraulic servo systems. Maintenance of plant power distribution. Installation, programming and set-up of servo, variable frequency, and digital AC and DC drive systems. Repairs, adjustments, alignments, and calibration of ENF equipment and systems. Other duties as deemed necessary. Minimum Qualifications Two-year associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent experience of 4-6 years in NC, CNC, and PLC controls. Understanding of electrical practices, capabilities and quality requirements. Basic knowledge of machine tools including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Proficiency using oscilloscopes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Strong math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well with a team while also independently. Detail-oriented; ability to organize and prioritize. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel). Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.
