Position Summary

Being a part of our international faith-based organization you will be focusing on how to improve the security of our on and off premise systems that are reachable locally and globally. You must be a strong communicator who is effective at working with a team to be able to deconflict elaborate problems to achieve the desired outcome This is a volunteer/supported position and a member of the Information & Digital Technologies team reporting to the Technology Infrastructure Manager.

Position Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain cyber security solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean and effective policy.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of security services.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Position Requirements

Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, Cyber Security Engineer, or similar role.
Proficiency in at least one SIEM (Splunk, ELK, Security Onion).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
