Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing Quality Assurance and Food Safety operations within the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure compliance with BRC, FDA, customer, and company quality standards.
- Supervise, coach, and train Quality Assurance team members.
- Conduct internal audits and review quality documentation and records.
- Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee food safety programs, including sanitation, pest control, allergen management, supplier approval, and environmental monitoring.
- Develop, update, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate closely with Production and Operations teams to maintain product quality and food safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality Assurance or Food Safety management experience , preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety, Quality Systems, BRC, HACCP, FDA regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting audits, investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
