The Role

Partner with the Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that maximize hotel revenue, market share, and profitability. This role is responsible for managing key client relationships, supporting the sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring achievement of group, corporate, leisure, and catering sales goals.

What You Will Be Doing

• Partner with the Director of Sales to develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue performance
• Lead, coach, and support Sales Managers to achieve individual and team sales objectives
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, travel managers, meeting planners, and key clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
• Conduct hotel site tours, client presentations, and sales calls to generate new business and maintain existing accounts
• Negotiate contracts, develop proposals, and secure group, corporate, and event business
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to identify revenue opportunities
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, Catering, and Operations teams to maximize business results
• Attend industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community engagements to promote the hotel
• Analyze sales performance, booking pace, pipeline activity, and forecasting reports to measure success and recommend improvements
• Assist in preparing annual sales budgets, business plans, and revenue projections
• Maintain accurate account information and sales activities within CRM and hotel management systems
• Ensure exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process to foster long-term client relationships

Qualifications

What Makes You You

• Minimum of 3 years of hotel sales experience, including progressive leadership responsibilities
• Previous experience as a Senior Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or similar hospitality sales role preferred
• Strong knowledge of hotel sales, revenue management principles, and market segmentation strategies
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals and sales targets
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Ability to travel locally for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities as needed
