Estimator

Construction Estimator To join a leading commercial general contractor. This role is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, managing the bidding process, evaluating subcontractor proposals, and supporting preconstruction efforts from conceptual budgeting through project handoff. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating commercial construction projects and working closely with project management and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine project scope. Perform quantity takeoffs and material estimates. Solicit, receive, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids. Prepare RFIs and coordinate responses with project consultants. Analyze subcontractor proposals for scope completeness and pricing accuracy. Develop project budgets, bid packages, and comprehensive proposals. Coordinate bid documentation, addenda, and project communications. Participate in project turnover meetings and support Project Management after project award. Assist with budgeting and preconstruction activities throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business , or a related field preferred. Experience estimating Commercial Office, Healthcare, Medical Office Buildings, Industrial, Educational, Hospitality, Parking Structures, or Tilt-Up projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and subcontractor management. Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, On-Screen Takeoff, and BidMail . Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Tilt-Up Construction or Medical Office Building projects. Experience with LEED-certified projects and BIM is a plus. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
