Job Title: Interim Marketing & Exhibition Manager
Pay Rate: $30-40/hr
Location: Greensboro, NC
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm

* Develop and manage yearly event and exhibition plan.
* Plan and execute all in-person and digital events, including customer events, dealer meetings, industry trade shows, association exhibits, product launches, internal field meetings, and special events.
* Design unique and strategic event approaches, including digital strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and lead generation.
* Ensure premium, world-class brand presence and customer experience at all events.
* Oversee all pre-planning activities including site or platform selection, contract negotiation, event objectives, promotional planning, tradeshow design, and communications planning.
* Collaborate with external agency partners to support event planning and execution.
* Manage event and exhibit logistics including transportation, catering, audiovisual support, equipment, registration, travel arrangements, materials shipping, and demonstrations.
* Review and recommend sponsorship opportunities to maximize company exposure.
* Prepare and manage event and exhibit budgets. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* 4+ years of experience in Marketing Communications with demonstrated success.
* Corporate or B2B event and exhibit management experience.
* Bachelor"s degree in Business Administration, Marketing Communications, or equivalent.
* Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
* Clear verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of the hospitality and tradeshow industry.
* Creative design and production management capability.
* Innovative problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Strong customer focus. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with digital transformation tools to enhance event experiences.
* Track record of strategic planning and excellence in project management.
* Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external partners. PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
* Intermediate skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
* Knowledge of the North American trucking industry and customer expectations.
