Physical Therapist

Role Summary A progressive rural healthcare organization is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitative care across multiple settings. This role is ideal for a clinician who values variety in practice, working with patients of all ages in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based environments. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including assessment of functional abilities and rehabilitation needs Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function Provide direct patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach settings Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and wellness strategies Supervise and direct support staff to ensure effective care delivery Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental programs Support professional development through continuing education and knowledge sharing Promote physical therapy services within the community and serve as a clinical resource Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (APTA-approved or equivalent) Eligible for or currently holding a Physical Therapist license in the state of practice Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Includes occasional on-call and weekend coverage Diverse patient population across all age groups Practice settings include inpatient, outpatient, and community outreach clinics Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $80,500 – $120,500 annually (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available About the Organization This opportunity is with a small critical access hospital (approximately 25 beds) that serves a close-knit rural community.
