As the Sommelier for Halls Chophouse, you will educate and empower our guests to navigate our wine list. Each region, varietal and vineyard will come alive through your knowledge and passion for wine.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience as Sommelier in high volume restaurant or steakhouse 
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills
• Must have valid South Carolina State Approved Alcohol Server Training Certificate. If you do not please visit: -beverage-licensing-abl/recognized-training-programs to attain before applying.
• Previous experience as a Sommelier, Wine Steward or Hospitality role
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations 
• Interest in continuing education 
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Certification in the Court of Master Sommeliers is a plus. Proven, extensive knowledge of wine, beer and spirits is a must.
