We are committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. We are hiring an experienced Utility Operator on 2nd shift for our Kirksville, MO location.

Job Summary

The Utility Worker Warehouse Support plays a critical role in shipping, receiving, and material handling operations within the envelope manufacturing facility. This position ensures accurate movement, tracking, and preparation of materials and finished goods while supporting efficient warehouse operations and meeting customer shipment requirements.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Load, unload, move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment
• Prepare finished goods for shipment, including labeling and documentation
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and work orders
• Count and reconcile materials to ensure accuracy and inventory control
• Receive, inspect, and route incoming materials to appropriate departments
• Maintain shipping records and enter data into inventory or shipping systems
• Identify and report damaged goods or discrepancies to supervision
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
• Interact effectively with internal teams and external vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay & Work Schedule

• $22.41/hr + $1.25/hr 2nd shift premium (3:00 PM 11:00 PM)
• Monday - Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed
• Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs and availability

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (math proficiency preferred)
• 3+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred
• Forklift/power equipment certification preferred; Valid driver's license preferred
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness and ability to learn, adapt, and take direction
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Reliable attendance and adherence to safety standards

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Regular lifting, carrying, walking, bending, and reaching
• Frequent use of hands and coordination (hand/eye, depth perception)
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Exposure to warehouse conditions including heat, cold, dust, and noise
• Exposure to noise, inks, solvents, adhesives, and high-speed machinery
• Must remain alert and attentive to safely operate production equipment for a full shift
