Full-Time Neonatology Position - Richmond, VAPosition Type: Permanent Setting: Level III NICU Visa & Locums: Not accepted Key Highlights

Facility: Largest delivery center in the region with a 40-bed Level III NICU
Model: Single-family room NICU - family-centered care focus
Coverage: 24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage
Call: In-house; no newborn nursery coverage required
Schedule: Full-time

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neonatology
Locum Tenens Candidates: Not accepted
Visa Candidates: Not accepted

Clinical Responsibilities

Deliver advanced neonatal intensive care
Utilize therapies such as:
HFOV (High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation)
HFJV (High-Frequency Jet Ventilation)
Inhaled nitric oxide
Therapeutic hypothermia

Work collaboratively with:
On-site pediatric surgery & cardiology
Nurse-led neonatal transport team
Focus exclusively on NICU patients
Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and clinical research Team Culture
