Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour and Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. License: Must have a permanent license in hand or a compact state license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must work every other holiday. - Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores. - Reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse who may float to multiple units, caring for a similar patient population. The schedule includes rotating shifts of nights and days, with variability based on operational needs. Twice a year, the facility will do its best to accommodate traveler’s preferred shifts, but rotating may be necessary. Recent travel experience is acceptable, as long as it meets the required experience in the specialty. Required certifications must be active and there should be no pending matters regarding them. A negative drug screen is required prior to starting. Additional assessments may be necessary based on orientation completion. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team and caring for a diverse patient population. All candidates must comply with any additional facility requirements as specified.
