EDM Programmer-Operator, Precision Wire and Sinker

You translate the blueprint and router into a smart setup on a Mitsubishi wire or Makino sinker, refine NC code for stability and speed, verify every critical feature, and cue a lights-out run that hits spec while you rest. • Set up and operate wire and/or RAM EDM equipment (Mitsubishi, Makino, or similar) for intricate, tight-tolerance parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and setup documentation to plan accurate jobs
• Edit and optimize NC code and control settings to improve quality and throughput
• Perform in-process inspection and final verification to specifications
• Troubleshoot setups; recommend and implement tooling, fixture, and method enhancements
• Plan, maintain, and optimize reliable lights-out EDM operations

• 5+ years of wire and/or sinker EDM in high-precision manufacturing
• Proficiency with Mitsubishi, Makino, or comparable EDM controls and coding
• High school diploma required; vocational or apprenticeship background preferred
• Demonstrated ability to self-inspect to exact tolerances
