Physical Therapist (Orthopedic) - Brentwood At Origin, working with us isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to transform the way care is delivered to women. Every day, we’re building a company that’s elevating the standard of care for thousands now, with our sights set on reaching millions in the future. This past year, we partnered tirelessly with insurance companies to break down barriers to care. As a result, we’re now in-network for over 50 million people nationwide, making pelvic floor and whole-body physical therapy more accessible and affordable than ever before. It’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s just the beginning. If you share our passion for creating accessible, life-changing care, we’d love to have you on our team. Together, we can continue making a difference for those who need it most. Here’s what you can expect when you join us. Monthly Bonus Potential Robust onboarding and training program led by highly experienced Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists At Origin, we believe in caring for the caregivers and redefining what it means to support your career and well-being. About the role As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Origin, you are a core member of the Clinical Patient Care team and an important part of our whole-body approach to women’s health. You provide high-quality orthopedic and musculoskeletal physical therapy while working in close collaboration with Origin’s pelvic health physical therapists. Together, you address the interconnected orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and pelvic health needs of women across all ages and stages of life. Your care may support patients experiencing musculoskeletal conditions throughout adolescence and adulthood, as well as during pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, aging, and other life transitions. Your work involves direct patient care, collaboration with pelvic health and other clinicians, patient education, and participation in a positive and supportive clinic environment. You will evaluate and treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions while recognizing when pelvic health factors may contribute to a patient’s symptoms, function, or recovery. You will collaborate with pelvic health physical therapists when patients would benefit from integrated care, helping create a seamless experience rather than treating orthopedic and pelvic health concerns in isolation. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Origin, you are responsible for: Delivering high-quality, evidence-based orthopedic and musculoskeletal physical therapy care Performing comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and creating individualized plans of care Treating musculoskeletal conditions involving the spine and extremities, including pain, mobility limitations, weakness, injury, post-operative rehabilitation, and return to activity Providing care that considers the unique musculoskeletal needs of women throughout adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and healthy aging Recognizing the relationship between orthopedic and pelvic health conditions and identifying when collaboration with a pelvic health physical therapist may improve patient outcomes Collaborating with pelvic health physical therapists to develop coordinated plans of care for patients with overlapping orthopedic and pelvic health needs Referring internally to pelvic health physical therapists when specialized pelvic floor evaluation or treatment is indicated Coordinating treatment progression and goals when a patient is receiving care from both orthopedic and pelvic health clinicians Helping patients safely return to the activities that matter to them, including work, exercise, recreation, caregiving, athletics, and daily life Educating patients about their condition, treatment options, movement, exercise, injury prevention, and self-management Progressing plans of care based on patient outcomes, functional goals, and clinical judgment Completing documentation in a timely and compliant manner Collaborating with clinic coordinators and the broader care team to provide an exceptional patient experience Participating in team huddles, mentorship, case collaboration, and professional development Supporting a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients and teammates What you’l l achieve At Origin, we recognize that the body does not operate in separate systems. Musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions frequently intersect, and patients benefit when clinicians work together. An orthopedic patient experiencing low back, hip, pelvic, abdominal, or lower-extremity symptoms may benefit from pelvic health expertise. Similarly, a pelvic health patient may benefit from orthopedic expertise to address strength, mobility, movement, pain, injury, or return to higher-level activity. The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will actively collaborate with pelvic health clinicians to identify these opportunities and provide coordinated care. Our goal is simple: the right care, from the right clinician, at the right time, with a team that sees the whole person. Your work will: Improve the lives of women experiencing orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and overlapping pelvic health concerns Expand access to comprehensive physical therapy across all ages and stages of life Help patients move from pain or limitation toward strength, confidence, function, and the activities they value Create stronger continuity between orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy Help normalize integrated musculoskeletal and pelvic health care as an important part of women’s healthcare Contribute to a clinic that runs smoothly, treats more patients, and delivers excellent outcomes and patient experiences What Makes Us Different While each position may demand distinct skills and qualifications, we operate as a unified team, driven by our shared core values. At Origin, we're all about creating a safe and supportive haven within our community. We’re a growing team of hardworking and passionate individuals who integrate the following values into our everyday practices: Own it. We show up with our best work. We’re creative, focused, proactive, and get the details right. Go big. We have a big vision for women’s health and are energized by our potential impact. We act with urgency, yet remember it’s a long game. Stretch. Growth can be uncomfortable and progress isn’t always linear. We create a safe space for honest learning, taking risk, and understanding failure. Be generous. We’re kind, high integrity, and assume the best. We celebrate wins and build each other up. About you Interest in women's health and whole-body physical therapy Willingness to develop knowledge of the intersection between orthopedic and pelvic health conditions Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California 2+ years of orthopedic physical therapy experience Experience treating active women, athletes, pregnancy/postpartum musculoskeletal conditions, or patients during perimenopause and menopause Manual therapy, strength and conditioning, return-to-sport, or other advanced orthopedic training Compensation The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $120,000, plus bonus Other Information Origin is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
