Job Description
Residential Fenestration Installer Join Mad City Windows & Baths, part of the Renuity family
Picture your morning: you check your route, load up the truck, and head to a nearby home where a family has been looking forward to new, energy-efficient windows. You greet the homeowner, walk the space, confirm the plan, and then get to work—precise removal, expert installation, clean finish work, and a final walkthrough that leaves the customer smiling. That’s a typical day for our Residential Fenestration Installer.
What you’ll do- Install residential remodeling products—particularly replacement windows—following Mad City’s standards and procedures.
- Perform finishing and trim work as needed for a polished, professional result.
- Wrap windows when required and ensure weather-tight, code-compliant installations.
- Communicate with management at job completion to confirm customer satisfaction and obtain authorization for final payment.
- Complete the carpentry job checklist with the homeowner before you leave the site.
- At least 6 months of remodeling, carpentry, or construction experience.
- Hands-on experience with window replacements and/or exterior window wrapping.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to work effectively with homeowners and teammates.
- Base pay: $20–$24 per hour
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Collaborative team culture with clear paths for advancement
This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location. Expect day trips to job sites, with most nights at home.
