Munitions Handler (Forklift Operator)

Duties
Help
Receives and/or processes a variety of ammunition.
Stores items in accordance with established storage plan.
Marks containers in accordance with established procedures.
Updates magazine data magazine cards with inventory results in accordance with established procedures.
Updates magazine data cards with daily transaction in accordance with established procedures.
Issues correct ammunition by lot number to units.
Operates powered forklift truck (e.g. electric, gasoline, or diesel) to lift loads up to 10,000 pounds.
Ensures items are loaded on vehicles in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous materials requirements.
