Core Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging training programs focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence to retail staff at various experience levels Conduct on-site training sessions at multiple retail locations throughout the San Francisco area, adapting content to meet specific store needs and performance gaps Assess current sales capabilities and identify training priorities through observation, staff interviews, and performance data analysis Create customized educational materials, presentations, and training documentation that reinforce key sales competencies and organizational best practices Monitor training effectiveness through follow-up assessments, performance metrics, and participant feedback to ensure measurable improvement Collaborate with retail management to align training initiatives with business objectives and sales targets Provide coaching and mentoring to individual associates and management teams to accelerate skill development Track attendance, participation, and training completion across all locations Document training activities, outcomes, and recommendations in detailed reports for stakeholder review Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving retail best practices to keep training content relevant and impactful Support the development of new training curricula as business needs evolve Serve as a resource for challenging sales situations and provide guidance on implementation of learned techniques

Must-Have Requirements Proven experience in retail sales, sales training, or customer-facing roles within a structured environment Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences Strong presentation skills with comfort speaking to groups of varying sizes and backgrounds Experience developing or delivering training content in a professional setting Solid understanding of retail sales processes, customer service principles, and performance metrics Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple training sessions and locations simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new training platforms or systems Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field work across the San Francisco area Ability to travel within the region as needed for on-site training delivery Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities Self-motivation and ability to work independently while managing field assignments High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications preferred)
