Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and everyday living capabilities
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide integrated and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their support networks on therapy practices to facilitate ongoing recovery at home
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients stay on the path to success

Education Requirements

• Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Commit to ongoing education and obtain post-graduation certifications as desired

Certifications Needed

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
